March 2003, saw the refurbishment, re-invention and return to The Occidental, paying hommage to 133 years of its' publican history.
We have created a bar that we believe has taken the best elements out of the traditional 'kiwi pub' and brought them into this century. Whether you are a old time regular, new regular or passing through visitor, we welcome you in our doors.
We back our kiwi style with kiwi tunes throughout the day and night, backed up my local Wellington musicians playing every friday night.
